Our Story

We’re Sam and Angela. Scottsdale has been home since 1991.

Family-owned dry cleaning and master alterations. 35 years in the same town, doing the same work, the same way.

We moved to Scottsdale in 1991. We raised our kids here. We know the streets, the seasons, the people. This is our home.

Mega Cleaners is family-owned and family-run. We opened the shop because we wanted to do this work ourselves, in a place that felt like ours. The tailor working on your suit is the same person every time. The hands hanging your shirts care about how they look when you put them back on.

That is the whole point.

The bench

The tailor on our bench.

Alterations and tailoring at Mega Cleaners are done in-house. Not sent to a back room across town. Not sent out at all. One set of skilled hands, decades of practice, every piece.

Hems, takes, lets, sleeves, shoulders, zippers, linings, full reworks. The work is patient and slow when it needs to be, fast when it doesn’t. When you pick up a jacket, the line of the lapel and the set of the shoulder are on us.

It’s the kind of room where someone can spend a career getting better at one craft. That’s what’s happening here.

How we work

Like a neighbor, not a chain.

We don’t upsell. We don’t push add-ons. If your jacket only needs a spot, we treat the spot. If your shirts come back great every time, we keep doing them the same way.

People stay with us for years. Some have been coming in since the kids were little. Some moved away and still drop garments off when they’re in town. That’s the part of the job we’re most proud of.

If you’re new to Scottsdale, welcome. If you’ve lived here longer than us, you probably already know somebody who comes in.

What we do

The shop in one paragraph.

Dry cleaning for everyday garments and finer pieces, using a low-toxicity, biodegradable process. Master alterations and tailoring done at the bench, in-house. Linen service for restaurants, spas, salons, chiropractors, and naturopathic clinics. Turnover linens for Airbnb and Vrbo hosts. Specialty care for comforters and duvets, delicates (silks, cashmere, fine wool), household textiles, heirloom items, and wedding suits. Rush turnaround when you need it, often same-day or next-day. Walk in and ask.

Bring it in. We’d love to meet you.
